Innovative, Versatile and Budget-Friendly: The New Vitodens 100 Condensing Boiler from Viessmann

With the new Vitodens 100 condensing boiler, Viessmann has added a unique Comfort Saver Series option to its line of premium condensing boilers. Contractors can now offer great energy savings, Viessmann quality and reliability to both their budget-conscious and discriminating customers.

At the heart of the Vitodens 100 is the same proven Inox-Radial heat exchanger design as on the Premium Series Vitodens 200 boilers. Designed and built by Viessmann of SA240 316 Ti stainless steel to ASME Section IV and CSA B51, it provides consistently high condensing performance and unparalleled reliability over the entire lifetime of the boiler - as well as peace-of-mind for the homeowner.

With an AFUE of 95.1% the Vitodens 100 is the most efficient boiler in its price range and is eligible for U.S. Federal Tax Credit. It is ENERGY STAR qualified and, together with the Vitodens 200, the only wall-mounted condensing boiler certified by the Government of Canada's Environmental Choice Program to be less harmful to the environment.

The Vitodens 100 uses a full-modulation natural gas stainless steel cylinder burner to achieve reliable, whisper-quiet and low-emission combustion. All Vitodens 100 burners come factory-calibrated to save time during installation. The boiler is equipped with a built-in boiler control for room thermostat operation via TT connection. The clean and simple control interface includes a reset button, digital LCD display and adjustable high limit. For DHW control, outdoor reset operation and more, the boiler control is able to interface with any level of external control.

For both the Vitodens 100 and 200 Series boilers a variety of new venting options has been added with the introduction of the Vitodens 100. Contractors can now choose from more than 10 venting options, including Viessmann sealed combustion coaxial venting, double-pipe and single-wall venting to meet their customers' needs.
NPT pipe connections, all located at the bottom of the boiler, and a standard 120 V power requirement make installation and start-up fast and easy. For side-wall sealed combustion coaxial vent applications a convenient wall-mounting template is supplied with the boiler.

Zero clearance to combustibles (boiler and venting) and the extremely lightweight and compact design (27½" x 15¾" x 13½") make this boiler easy to handle and ideal for limited-space installations.

The Vitodens 100 is backed by a limited lifetime warranty* and now available in two boiler sizes: 29 - 80 MBH input and 29 - 100 MBH input for natural gas operation only.
