"We pay attention to the environmental compatibility of all processes and encourage the use of renewable forms of energy." This is one of our Company Principles.

For the entire value-adding chain of production - from processing raw materials to handling, manufacturing and recycling - we strive to minimize environmental impact. Even in the design phase we think "recycling". After many years of use, materials can still be identified and reprocessed.

	ENERGY STAR qualified products meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. Viessmann Vitorond 100 boilers, Vitola 200 oil boilers, and Vitodens condensing boilers are all ENERGY STAR qualified.
	In addition, Viessmann Vitocrossal condensing boilers, Vitodens condensing boilers, and Vitocell 300 indirect-fired domestic hot water tanks are certified by Environment Canada's "EcoLogo" Environmental Choice Program.

Viessmann was awarded full recognition for its "whole company approach" to environmental concerns in 1992, 1994, 1996 and 1999 by the German Ministry of Labor. This award is presented to those who meet criteria laid down in the "EC Eco Audit Order", showing that a company has demonstrated comprehensive regard for the environment in every aspect of its management and production.

Viessmann was the first company in the heating technology sector and only the third company in the Federal Republic of Germany to be awarded this Eco Audit Certificate.  If protecting the environment is important to you, why should you expect any less from your heating system provider?
